The gardens, which have an "English flavor",
were designed by Charles Gillette, a master of landscape architecture
best known for the gardens at Agecroft Hall in Richmond.
A long brick walk leads around a fountain from the Main Street gate. Several other brick-lined paths have recently been discovered as part of the current owner’s effort to research and restore the multi-leveled and many chambered gardens.
