From quaint rentals on Grant to grand mansions on Canterbury, Sunset
Hills is an eclectic collection of homes. Founded in the 1940's,
Sunset Hills saw concentrated development during the booming decade
following World War II. Presently, the majority of homes date
from that 1940's and 1950's period.
A notable 1950 home designed by George Matsumoto is located on Churchill.
Known as the Ritcher House, it is listed on the National Register
of Historic Places. We hope to have pictures of it for you soon.
Development within Sunset Hills has ebbed and flowed into a mixture
of architectural styles and sizes which reflect the trend of the times.
Here you find Old and New, Simple and Ornate, Small and Large.
