During your study of Raleigh, you will see and hear reference to
'Five Points'. Here it is.
Five Points (like University Park) is a conglomeration of neighborhoods.
However, the borders of Five Points have less definition than
the borders of University Park. Five Points is defined by it's
center rather than it's edges. Five Points blends into neighborhoods
surrounding the intersection of Glenwood Avenue, Fairview and Whitaker
Mill. It covers roughly the area defined by the map above. The
extent of Five Points penetration into surrounding neighborhoods is
arguable and depends on your reference.
