Originally the southwest section of the 1905 Glenwood neighborhood,
Brooklyn developed it's own identity.
Having withstood re-development pressure which did not fit it's turn-of-the-century
motif, Brooklyn now has a diverse architectural flavor. It is
also an integral and important part of Glenwood-Brooklyn historic
district.
Snuggled into a comfortable pocket between Fletcher Park, Glenwood,
Glenwood South and Cameron Park -- Brooklyn is indeed a treasure.
